With an extended length of over 62 inches and a static load capacity of 400 lbs., Solace offers generous space and reliable strength. Dual pneumatic gas springs ensure smooth, controlled open and close operation—making it easier and safer for caregivers.

Constructed entirely from brushed 304 stainless steel, Solace is built for durability, cleanliness, and long-term performance. Its high-gloss ABS changing tray is both bacteria-resistant and replaceable, while the one-handed safety belt, made from a composite material, is simple to clean and operate. Its recessed mount is ideal for smaller spaces to ensure the slimmest profile possible.

Does Solace have a safety strap? What material is the safety strap?

Yes, all Sova changing stations have a safety strap that can be adjusted with one hand. It’s a durable nylon weave with a polyurethane coating to ensure easy, hygienic cleaning.

What material is the changing surface?

Almost every Sova changing station is made from high-density polyethylene (HDPE), which offers exceptional durability and is highly resistant to impacts, scratches, and general wear and tear. HDPE is extremely hygienic, as its non-porous surface resists moisture, bacteria, and odors, ensuring it’s easy to clean and sanitize.  

HDPE is also naturally resistant to chemical damage, ensuring it remains compatible with standard cleaning products for easy and convenient cleaning.

Is Solace easy to clean and maintain?
