The grid blades are made of aluminium and are in the shape of a “T”.
The blades are grooved every 9.5 mm (3/8") and their notch is 3.2 mm (9/64") wide by 4.7 mm (3/16") deep. We recommend that the spacing between each blade not exceed 4.7 mm (3/16").
Each grid is held in place by a concealed support underneath at maximum intervals of 600 mm (24”), for grids not exceeding 1220 mm (48”). An intermediate support is installed under larger grids.
A grid model that is designed for vestibules with multidirectional circulation and is anti-slip in both directions.

Frames

TT TYPE
TT frames are designed to sit on top of the finished floor to protect it and keep out water. A total opening of ½ inch more is required. This is the preferred type of frame for an existing floor.
VV TYPE
VV frames are designed to be set into concrete, level with the finished floor. A total opening of 2 inches more is required to pour the concrete.
AD TYPE
AD frames are designed to be set into concrete or screwed down every 6 inches to be level with the finished floor. A total opening of ½ inch more is required to pour the concrete. This type of frame is ideal for an existing floor or a wall-to-wall space.

Galvanized Steel
Pans made from 22 gauge galvanized steel provide a continuous flat surface with no drainage. Several other gauges are available on request.

Hex or star screwdrivers are useful with the “plate and screw” option.

Anodization
Anodization is a surface treatment that applies another finish to aluminum using anodic oxidation. Its thickness varies between 5 and 50 micrometres. There is a choice of colours: clear 0.4 mil, clear 0.7 mil, bronze and black.
Hinge and Catch
The “hinge and catch” option holds the section up and secures the sections of the foot grill during maintenance.
Hinge and GB-46 Lock
The “hinge and GB-46 lock” option holds the section up and prevents vibrations in foot grills. It extends the product’s life and prevents tampering.
GB-46 Lock at the 4 Corners
The “GB46 lock at the 4 corners” option secures each section of the foot grill at the four corners and prevents vibration. It extends the product’s life and prevents tampering.
Plate and Anti-Theft Screw
The “plate and anti-theft screw” option secures each section of the foot grill at the four corners and prevents vibration. It’s an economical way to prevent tampering.
